Organ Pipes National Park - 24th July 2004

An easy 1/2 day trip, we drove up to the Organ Pipes after getting my winch cable re-attached after loosing it on the Mt. Margaret Trip.  The Organ Pipes is a short distance from Melbourne up the Calder Highway, not far from Calder Park.  A lot of work by volunteer groups has seen the Organ Pipes National Park returned to close to it's original native vegetation from weedy wastelands.   Whilst walking along the paths through the park past the various geological features for which the Park is known, we passed groups of people continuing the planting of indigenous shrubs and trees.
