Mt Worth: 3rd August 2008

We decided to go for a short drive up into Mt Worth State Forest. After a morning tea stop at a cafe along the way, and a scary incident with an emu we were enjoying the magnificent views across Gippsland.
We had a quick stop at the picnic ground in Mt Worth, but as we had all been here before, we continued our drive to the campsite on the Tarwin River West. As on previous trips here, the campsite was muddy and as slippery as ice.
We visited a nearby waterfall, which was flowing well with the recent rains. The track down was very slippery, but it was well worth the walk.
